  Really good Mexican food during lunch time. The spicy lamb burrito was great, and the shrimp creole tacos were good. Disappointed that the dinner menu had so few Mexican options each time we went for Dinner. I know the menu rotates but based on my lunch experience, I crave for the Mexican food at dinner.

  So disappointed in our dinner tonight. We have been travelling to Terrace annually since 2010 and Don Diego's has always been the highlight and such a surprising gem. Tonight our chicken and fish were dry, our mash was cold and our salad was subpar and the dressing was weirdly over seasoned with cumin. There were several servers standing around chatting by the bar. In order to get the basic level of service, we went from politely trying to get their attention to waving them down. The restaurant was not busy. We are not fussy people, nor are we difficult customers. Saddened to see that some of the negative reviews I have been reading are actually true. They did respond to our constructive criticism about the food by knocking off 10 dollars. The only reason for the two star rating. Please step it up.
